Micromax Q7 Review

Micromax finally start concentrating on data transfer technologies. Micromax is going to release his first model with Wi-Fi, Micromax ezpad Q7. It is coming with some quality features. Now, you can play AVI, 3GP, MP4 videos on it's 262k color screen. It has full QWERTY keyboard with trackball navigation. Preloaded with Opera Mini, Facebook, Nimbuzz and multi-messenger. It is coming with long battery backup, 4.5 hrs. It will be available in two colors, Silver and Black.

Please never Buy Micromax q7.It creates problem in just 1 Day.I make a big mistake to buy this.
network some time work and some time not work and many problems Like WI-FI,Videos and many more.

it is a good mobile q7, but, the company has fooled people on the box in the contents it has been written that there is a leather pouch , and a drivers cd, but, in siede the box these items are missig, i i opned 10 boxes , all the boxes are of the same vinu

Hi Friends,
Never ever buy Micromax mobiles, they are just like dummy pieces.... Just i give one example, if any hotel charging 20 Rs and giving you Chapathi and Dal., it is fine. Think if another hotel is giving Non-veg, rice, chapathi even drink only for 20 Rs. what you say... this is not yet all possible there is something wrong. Similar thing is happening Micromax also, if you go with any branded mobiles like nokia, Sony with same features as Q7, it will cost you 10K+ but how these people are giving you only 5K. because they never work all the things at all......... Especially with electronic item never go for new brands and cheap priced ones....... this is my personal experience hope it will helpful to you also to take right decision

has any one checked the accessories in the box, it is found that the accessories and drivers cds are missing, in the box, i contacted many shops and opened many seal pieces, but, all the boxes have tags of itesm in the box, but, cd and pouch is missing in all boxes, when contacted micro max, they mailed me that they have a misprint on the box, how can they say that , when it is an american company, how do they do it, and more over, they say that they are growing in the market, the funny part of it is that in
their website also, we dont find , q7 drivers. vinu

I m not sure about Micromax Q7. I've seen Q5 and it is doing fairly well. Q7 at 4.8k is a good buy. Dual Sim and 2.2inch display with 2mp camera and Wifi. But... Did you check out Nokia C3? It is the new qwerty phone launched in april this year but still waiting to be available in stores. Announced price is 5.3k. It has 2.4 inch display and 2mp camera and Wifi too. Screen Quality is too good (nokia) and camera is better than micromax at least. Only thing you ll miss is Dual Sim functionality in C3. But C3 looks lot better than Micromax Q7 box. I don't hate Q7. But C3 at 5.3k is certainly a better buy than Q7.

dear friends, it is true that the box is missing accessories like leather pouch and drivers cd, and the drivers are not
their in the website of micromax, what is the fun buying this phone with out drivers, it will not sync. i have opened 10 boxes sealed boxes in different shops, but, they all have the missing of 2 accessories, which is even printed on the box, goes missing, when contacted mirco max , they say ,printing mistake, how can they do that, they print some thing and sell some thing, we should file a case against the company. vinu

Guys... hurry up!! buy Q7 its a awesome mobile. I m using Q2 and there is no such problem with micromax mobile. My personal thinking is tht... on an average we use mobile fr about 1.5 to 2 years and then go for new one... Im rgt??
So i would suggest to go fr a cheap n tikauu mobile n thn aft a year or two go fr the new one wit new technology.... wht say!! This is wht i thnk.......its ur hard earnd money..........Jst thnk it ovr cheers

Hi to all,
I am using Micromax Q7 since a month and I have no issues, its awesome.
Wifi is quick, browsing is quick...opera mini..very cool. Camera is 2mp with good clarity.USB charger..just plugin to anywhere and charge...Slim and weightless.
I mean its a fully loaded for 4800 or 4500 whatever price u buy. Priya....dont do for q5...Q7 is good.

Hi Sanjeev, If the theft-tracking software you have used is network based, you have to use the same old SIM and should enter the wrong password for 3 consecutive times. Once you have entered three times, it will ask you for PUK code. Then, call the customer care from an another mobile and get the PUK code. Once you have entered the PUK code, it will asks you to enter the new password, use the default password such as 1234/0000, so that you will never forget the password. If you are using the phone software which is not at all related to your SIM card, then go to the service centre near by you and ask them to reset the password. They only will have the authorization to unlock. If still the problem exists, I don't know the solution. Let someone answer your question. Thanks & Regards,

I just went thru the discussion and couldn't resist but write. I have a q7 and it is an awesome phone for its price. I found all its functions effective and i am personally very happy with the phone. I got it for 4600. I initially thought of buying nokia 5233... I'll compare both the phones Nokia 5233 Rs 6500, single sim, touchscreen, poor external speakers, no wi-fi but a good display.. wheras q7 is for 4600 with dual sim, good speakers, wi-fi, doesn,t have a touchscreen but a qwerty keypad. People are of an opinion that it is a cheap brand, but let me tell u the quality is very good for the price of the phones and it is an Indian company. So please try and buy Indian products and promote Indian brands. But only if you get the products are worthy. I found micromax q7 worthy. Its upto u all how u see it. Thanks.

Dear Abhi, I have personally experienced more than six Samsung mobiles. You have done a mistake by choosing Samsung. Instead of going to Samsung you can purchase any China Mobile which will work far better than Samsung. Even Samsung service centre won't response properly. Upon your requirements, I will suggest you a Sony Ericsson mobile. At present I am using LG GW525. Which is pretty good. I did not find any problems till now. Which is of cost Rs.9000, and can upload photos directly to your sites. As it has QWERTY Keypad and 3G, you can very
well use it for blogging. This is my experience with LG. Sony Ericsson Niate (Green Heart Mobile) will have all the features you required. Which is cheap in cost (around Rs.5500). You can go with this. More over it has 3G. It is a big plus for you. Thanks & Regards,

Hi Nancy, I am not clear on what you are saying? Generally mobiles will demand PUK code when you have entered the wrong password 3 consecutive times. If this is the case, you have to call your service provider. They will confirm some of your details and will provide you the PUK code. Once you have entered the PUK code, your phone will request a New Password. Enter the password you like to have. Confirm it again by entering same password at "Confirm Password". I am using Q7 for more then 3 months. Following are my observations: 1) Signal reception quality is extremely poor. Signal keep on breaking. impossible to communicate when signal strength is less the 50%
2) Speaker quality is poor (including handfree speaker). Sound clarity is not there and one has to strain your ears to understand what other person speaking.
3) Opera, Facebook, Nimbus nothing works. Nobody knows the settings to make them work. Default factory configuration settings are no good.
4) Trackball is extremely sensitive and not very user friendly. There is a delayed response during navigation, which makes it very slow.
5) Overall operation of phone is not very user friendly. QWERTY keyboard is cramped and very hard. difficult to operate.
6) Camera quality is extremely poor. There is very little depth of field offered by the camera. Most of the time background of the picture look blurry or smudged. Positive observations: 1) Attractive look.
2) Light
3) FM Works without headphone connection
4) 3.5 mm for headphone jack I will not advice this phone to anybody. I am looking for a buyer to get rid of this phone
