What will you prefer? PAN Card or 20% tax. This is not at all a April 1st joke. It is true.
The budget 2009-10 had made it mandatory that the residents and non-residents of India should quote their 10 digit Permanent Account Number (PAN) of Income tax Department where ever it is needed. Else, they should pay 20% of tax.
